Don Prout was the owner and of webmaster of CincinnatiViews. It was a wonderful webpage full of postcards and images of Cincinnati from decades and centuries past. I often featured it in ErvTV videos. Sadly, Mr. Prout passed away in 2019 and the site is now offline. Another group, Uptrade Media, had intended on saving the site, and modernizing the content. That would have been horribly expensive and time-consuming. I am not surprised the idea fell through.

I do not own the rights to the old site, or even the domain. If anyone knows the family of Mr. Prout, I would be interested in reposting his original website as is. Just like the old postcards he shared with us, his website is now worthy of saving for the same reason. It is a piece of Cincinnati Nostalgia.
